The Museum of London has released a series of intriguing images that has made Time Travel Photography possible, or could it be that some amazing image manipulation has been at work, probably the latter? Whatever is going on the effect is quite fantastic, and it’s all to do with an award-winning app.
Over the past seven years IGPOTY have championed a competition of such a high standard that photographers from around the world submit their images in the hope that theirs will be “the one” to win.
Paris is known the world over for its art, fashion and photography. It is the city of Cartier-Bresson, Robert Doisneau and many more great photographers. The streets and boulevards are full of images just waiting to be taken. The Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the millions of tourists who visit this beautiful city each year come to capture some of these images, and also to get themselves on film standing in front of the tourist attractions that the city has to offer.
The Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery and Memorial close to the village of Romagne-sous-Montfaucon in northern France is a site I have visited on a number of occasions. It seems somewhat of a paradox to say that the feeling of peace and serenity that comes over me when I wander amongst the graves.
