Disclaimer and Statement of Participant Responsibilities

World Photo Adventure is operated by WPA Creative Ltd, 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

In this document, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to WPA Creative Ltd / World Photo Adventure. “You” or “Participant” means anyone booking or attending a workshop, tour, or photographic experience with us.
Payment
A booking is confirmed once your deposit is received and acknowledged by email. Deposit amounts appear on each workshop/tour page. The balance is due 60 days before the start date. Bookings made within 60 days of the start date require full payment at booking.
What Is Included
Each workshop or tour lists included services (activities, meals, transport, etc.) on its web page. We may adjust inclusions if operational or external factors require it.
Cancellation by You
Cancellations must be made in writing or by email.
For programs requiring a deposit:
- More than 60 days before departure → loss of deposit.
- 59 days or fewer before departure → no refund.
For programs requiring full payment at booking:
- More than 60 days before departure → 50% refund.
- 59 days or fewer before departure → no refund.
Additional bookings (e.g., hotels, ground transport):
- More than 60 days before departure → 50% refund.
- 59 days or fewer before departure → no refund.
Flights: Refunds follow the airline’s fare rules. Any refund issued will be subject to an administrative service fee by WPA Creative Ltd.
No refund applies for early voluntary departure or non-attendance.
Cancellation by WPA Creative Ltd
If we cancel a tour, we will notify you at least 60 days before the start date and refund all payments made to WPA Creative Ltd for the tour cost. We are not liable for additional costs (e.g., flights, pre/post-tour travel).
Force majeure: In circumstances outside our reasonable control (including but not limited to war, natural disaster, political instability, contagious disease, government/health/travel restrictions), no refunds will be issued; please claim via your travel insurance.
Itineraries
We may adjust itineraries before or during a tour for reasons of safety, weather, health, or logistics. The program leader’s decision is final. Failure to follow leader instructions for safety or group cohesion may be treated as voluntary withdrawal from the tour.
Insurance
Participation requires comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, emergency evacuation, and cancellation. Your insurance details will be checked by your Program Leader upon arrival. By booking, you confirm you are in suitable health to participate and accept the inherent risks of travel and outdoor photography.
Personal Responsibility
Group travel involves flexibility and compromise. Weather, logistics, or local conditions may affect schedules, locations, or activities. No refunds or discounts apply for changes or curtailments beyond our control.
Participants are responsible for:
- Reading all pre-departure information.
- Bringing appropriate clothing and equipment.
- Maintaining standards of personal hygiene and respectful conduct toward fellow participants and local communities.
We reserve the right to accept, decline, or remove any participant whose behaviour or health poses risk to the group or program success. The itinerary/excursion leader’s judgement is final.
Privacy Statement
Personal data provided with your booking may be shared with third-party suppliers only as necessary to operate the program (e.g., hotels, permits, flight/transport bookings). Your email will not be sold or shared for unrelated marketing. Please refer to our full Privacy Policy for details of storage and processing.
Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking, paying a deposit or balance, or submitting an online registration, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Disclaimer and Statement of Responsibilities.
You understand and accept that travel and photography workshops involve inherent risks (including illness, injury, loss, or property damage) which you voluntarily assume for yourself and any accompanying persons. You agree to release and hold harmless WPA Creative Ltd, its directors, staff, agents, sponsors, and associates from any and all claims arising from participation in activities we arrange, including those related to negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You understand that medical services or facilities may not be available at all times and that WPA Creative Ltd does not assume responsibility for medical care or special medications/dietary requirements during the trip.
Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
