Disclaimer and Statement of Participant Responsibilities.

All the small print that you don’t really want to read but you know you must. It is important.

For our part we will be clear and as jargon free as possible.

Payment

Once you have made a booking and paid a deposit to World Photo Adventure ‘Photo Workshops and Tours’ your booking will be confirmed by email. Deposit amounts are listed on each tour’s web page. The balance payment for the tour is due 60 days (2 months) before the tour starts. Booking made less than 60 days before the tour start date will require full payment.

What is Included

Each World Photo Adventure contains different services in terms of included activities, meals and transport. These details are included on the tours web page. World Photo Adventure reserves the right to change inclusions as listed due to operational or other factors.

Cancellation By You

Should you (the client) choose to cancel a booking, World Photo Adventure must be notified in writing or by email.

The following cancellation fees apply for our scheduled group tours:

For tours that require a deposit payment:

• more than 60 days before departure, loss of deposit
• 59 days or less before departure, no refund.

For tours that require full payment to book the tour:

• more than 60 days before departure, loss of 50{b7f689427f81e317b7f60b5a54fde01ab1a33ca18679f45a233af3a42b3f6e76} of payment
• 59 days or less before departure, no refund.

No refund will be made should you voluntarily leave a tour early.

The following cancellation fees apply for any extra bookings such as hotels and transport bookings (excluding flights):

• 59 days or less before departure, no refund.

The following cancellation conditions apply for our any extra flight bookings:

Every airline has different booking conditions so refunds on flights is dependent on what we are able to achieve. Any money refunded will be subject to service fees to be determined by World Photo Adventure.

Cancellation By World Photo Adventure

In the event that World Photo Adventure cancel a trip, notification will be given no less than 60 days before the departure date of the trip. World Photo Adventure will return all money paid for the trip cost. World Photo Adventure is not liable for any other money paid, including flight ticket purchases. Please note this excludes cancellations due to conditions outside World Photo Adventure control such as war, natural disaster, political instability, contagious diseases, health restrictions, travel restrictions, etc. In such an event no money will be returned by World Photo Adventure and you will need to make a claim on your travel insurance.

Itineraries

World Photo Adventure reserves the right to change advertised itineraries before or during a tour in the interests of safety resulting from war, disease, natural disaster, safety, or changed local conditions. The tour leader or guide during a tour has the right to make any necessary changes to the itinerary for the reasons listed. Any client not adhering to changes made for these reasons will be deemed to have left the tour and is no longer under the care of World Photo Adventure.

Insurance

It is important for you to understand that by attending and enrolling in a World Photo Adventure itinerary program or workshop that you are accepting certain risks, and that you are personally responsible for being in sufficiently good health to undertake the activity. By your acceptance of this Disclaimer, on-line registration form and payment, you certify that you do not knowingly have any physical or other conditions of disability that would create risk for you or other participants. It is a condition of participating in a World Photo Adventure Photo Workshop or Tour that each participant holds travel insurance for the duration of the trip. Insurance must include comprehensive medical and emergency evacuation. Your travel insurance details will be checked by your Program Leader on arrival at the starting point hotel.

Personal Responsibility

While itineraries are carefully planned, you must understand that they are not a guaranteed schedule of activities, events, or participation, but only an example. You must further understand that travel with a group invariably involves compromise to accommodate the diverse desires, travel goals, personalities, and physical abilities of group members. Therefore, participants must allow for flexibility and changes deemed necessary by the program leader. Additionally, there may be situations beyond our reasonable control due to climatic, geographic or governmental restrictions that will cause further changes activities, scheduling and/or locations. Your acceptance certifies your understanding that there are no discounts or refunds for activities curtailed or otherwise affected by such circumstances.

World Photo Adventure assumes that participants will take responsibility for studying all pre-departure information, for bringing all detailed and appropriate clothing and equipment, for conforming to standards of personal hygiene and for acting in a manner considerate of fellow group members and of locations and people visited. World Photo Adventure reserves the right to cancel any activity and to accept or reject any person as a member of any activity.

The itinerary or excursion leader’s judgement shall provide the ultimate determination of an individual’s ability to participate in, or to continue to participate in, any activity or itinerary.

Privacy Statement

Some of the personal information World Photo Adventure collects with your booking may be provided to third party suppliers. This will only be done where required for legal reasons (eg. booking flight tickets, permits, hotel bookings in some countries). Your email address will not be shared with anyone!

Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions
Your acceptance of this Disclaimer shall serve as a release of World Photo Adventure’s liability and a complete assumption of all risks by you and by your heirs, administrators, executors, successors, and assigns for all members of your family and any persons accompanying you. Your acceptance of this Disclaimer indicates that you are aware that travel, wherever it may be and by whatever means, involves an inherent risk of loss, injury, illness, death, or damage to personal property, which may be caused by forces of nature, negligence or actions of others, or other agencies. In consideration of, and as part of the payment for, your participation in World Photo Adventure’s itineraries, workshops, excursions, expeditions, or other activities, you are voluntarily releasing World Photo Adventure and all those involved with it from any and all liabilities because you are assuming the risks yourself. Because you are voluntarily traveling to areas which may be remote or foreign, and which may not be operated nor maintained to the standards to which you are accustomed, certain additional risks, dangers, and inconveniences including, but not limited to, forces of nature, terrorism, civil unrest, wild animals, hotels and other accommodations, airplanes, vehicles, taxis, boats, roads, walkways, trails, and other means of conveyance, may be involved. Your acceptance attests that you are aware that medical services or facilities may not be readily available during all or part of the trip. This includes emergency medical care, presence of physicians, and adequate medication. In addition, we assume no responsibility for medical care or any special medications or dietary requirements you may have.

Your acceptance of this Disclaimer signifies that you release and will hold World Photo Adventure harmless, as well as its officers, agents, sponsors, and associates, from any and all liability, actions, causes of action, claims, debts, and demands of every kind and nature whatsoever which you now have or which may arise in connection with your participation in any activities arranged by them including, without limitation, all liability, actions, causes of action, claims, debts, and demands related to the negligence of said persons.
