Six-day programme

Your itinerary

01

Arrival and introduction to Valensole

Meet the group and review camera settings, composition, safety and respectful field access. Our first evening shoot explores rhythmic rows, rolling views and stone cottages in sunset light.

Orientation, lens choice, leading lines, depth of field and sunset exposure.

02

Sunrise and rural Provence

Enter the fields before dawn for first light, then explore flowers, details and layered rows. After a midday break, photograph farm buildings and distant hills through golden hour.

Filters, focus stacking, foreground interest and telephoto landscapes.

03

Minimalist landscapes and night skies

Concentrate on lone trees, isolated cottages, curves and patterns. After an image review and rest, return for sunset and, when conditions allow, the Milky Way above the lavender.

Minimalism, visual rhythm, long exposures and low-light focusing.

04

Rest day and lavender distillery

Pause from scheduled tuition and visit a local distillery to discover lavender cultivation, harvesting and steam distillation. The rest of the day is free for lunch, a market or independent photography.

No scheduled sunrise or sunset session.

05

Sénanque Abbey and Gordes

Use lavender rows to lead toward the historic abbey, then continue to Gordes for late-afternoon, sunset and blue-hour photography as its stone buildings glow.

Architecture, perspective, exposure blending, panoramas and blue hour.

06

Final sunrise and portfolio review

Return to the plateau for a final sunrise, then close with a guided review on selecting, processing and sequencing a coherent Provence portfolio.

Creative refinement, colour management, editing and visual storytelling.
